Damon White could be the garlic you "rock and roll" too, as it may be the very first "Rocambole" variety that has been grown in Australia. Grown by the same family for four generations, its origins is believed to be from Italy and it arrived in Australia over 90 years ago in the 1920's by a gentleman who tended to it in the rural town of Forbes, NSW. He passed his garden growing techniques down through his descendants who now reside in various rural towns across NSW and are also growing it in their lovely gardens for their families. This garlic is like their family secret ingredient! We are very honoured to be a part of its future to help maintain its heritage.
